Questions before you apply

Do I need a tax ID to open an account?

Yes. We verify every trade account against a registered business, and the tax ID is how we do it. It also lets us apply resale exemption correctly so you are not charged tax on material you are reselling to a client.

What if my business is outside the United States?

Choose the other option under tax ID type and enter your VAT, ABN, or equivalent registration number. We open accounts across North America, Europe, and Australia.

Is there a minimum order or an annual commitment?

No. There is no minimum order, no annual volume target, and nothing to renew. Trade pricing applies from the first order.

Do I have to buy fixtures to get the lighting design?

The design work carries no charge on projects specified with Nuordic fixtures. Send drawings before you commit and see the layout and schedule first.

Who is the trade program for?

Architects, interior designers, builders and general contractors, electrical contractors, lighting consultants, and design build firms specifying on behalf of clients. If your situation does not fit neatly into one of those, talk to us.

How does pricing work across projects?

One account price across the catalog, applied to every quote. Larger packages are quoted at the project level, so ask your specification contact before you order.

Who do I deal with after the account opens?

A named specification manager who stays with the project through final aim, and who will talk directly to your electrician when the rough in starts.
